With reference to Colonial Office letter
U No. 53863/37, of the 13th January last, I am directed
by Viscount Halifax to transmit herewith, for the
information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies,
a copy of a letter from the Acting Secretary-General of
the League of Nations on the subject of facilities for
the entry into and the re-export from Hong Kong of a
further shipment of narcotic drugs for the needs of the
Epidemic Commission.
2.
Lord Halifax would be grateful if the necessary
facilities could be granted by the Government of Hong
Kong.
